I’m in my third year of teaching senior design. It’s been a lot of fun.
Last week I met with all 26 of my senior design 1 teams for a status check. Most of them are doing very well. Some are exceptional. And unfortunately, there are a few weak groups.
Next week I meet with all of my senior design 2 teams for a demo of their projects, which should be almost complete. It’s fun to see what they can do in two semesters. I have often been pleasantly surprised at how close the come to professional software.
