I struggled in Fall 2022. It seems that many of my students forgot how to be students. One class in particular was rude and ralked a lot. I have never had to tell a class to stop talking. I attribute this to the fact that many of them started college during lock down.
But now my classes are a really great. I am hoping that the effects of lock down are over and the students I get in the future will be focused on learning, So far, this is what I have seen–hooray.
My senior design class is about half the size of last semesters. 156 as opposed to 301. This has taken a lot of pressure off of me since I have to arrange for projects that they do during the semester.
