I have the next eight days with which to prepare for Fall 2023 semester. Right now I am abaout 1/3 of the way there. My two biggest concerns are COP 4020 and COP 4331. I like to have everything ready when the semester starts including assignments, tests, and lectures.
Senior Design 1 and 2 are easier since there are fewer lectures and assignments. But they require a lot of extra time to meeting with teams. This includes extra meetings and student demos. The last two weeks of the semester are full with Senior Design 2 committee meetings.
I like to have plenty of time in order to work on outside research. This includes game development, data compression, and music composition. I am workinig on a plan for those pursuits.
